Bardic

Greetings and welcome! I am Lady Tali Essen of the Isles, the Unicorn Bard, in the Society for Creative Anachronism. I reside in the Middle Kingdom (Midrealm) and am a Bard, a Scribe, and a Herald. 

My Historical Persona in the SCA is an Anglo Saxon weaver from Wessex somewhere between the 5th and 10th centuries (Pre- Norman Conquest).

I  became a Midrealm scribe in April 2023. Since becoming a treatied member of the Midrealm I have the pleasure of serving Royalty on the Dragons Thrones. In my scrolls I contribute both art, calligraphy, and wordsmithing.

As part of my scribal research I am collecting and compiling an index of online manuscripts with the end goal of creating a searchable database.

I specialize in turning manuscript pages into line art that is free for the scribal community to use in the making of award scrolls. If you wish to publish any of these designs, please contact me. 

Coinciding with my scribal pursuits, I have redrawn new graphics for Midrealm Awards that available in both transparent black and white, and color PNGs for Kingdom use.
